Everything was amazing. I brought my mom for an early Mother's day dinner and we had a blast! The music and vibe were amazing! Our server was Bri and she was very attentive!!!
Absolutely fantastic restaurant!! The staff was cordial, warm, and genuine. My meal was superb, grilled half chicken with bbq sauce, fried okra , and amazing mac and cheese. The off menu fried green tomatoes were crispy perfection and my meal was finished with out of this world peach cobbler and ice cream! Tandra, the hostess hit the nail on the head when she said their food was made and served with love. Do not miss the is Detroit delight!
We went as a group of 9, LaTonya took care of ALL of us, like we were family! It was my cousins birthday and they even threw in a little birthday surprise! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and the jams stay playing. Wonderful experience!
The food is by far some of the best I've ever had! Tela was very kind and polite, and made sure we enjoyed our meal for our first visit. The establishment was very clean. The portion sizes are pretty nice. We're definitely coming back again. Couldn't recommend this spot more!

This was my first time here for my husband‘s birthday. When I entered, the restaurant it was very clean, I really like that part. My service was great. The food was great. I will definitely be returning. My waitress Chrissy Love was sweet, amazing and very helpful!!!!.
Haven’t been here since they were at the old location. Used to be a regular. Been wanting to come here for quite a while. I like the vibe of this location. The spacing between tables is really nice. The presentation of the food is stellar. Our server, Chrissy Love was lovely. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. The portions were a great value and everything was warm and fresh and full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back. You get complimentary cornbread when you are seated and it was of course, delicious. Had the $5 happy hour firecracker shrimp. Also, had the catfish finger dinner with sweet potato fries and collard greens. I was happy to learn the collard greens had some turkey in it.
Okay, Rinsey is the BEST! We’re out of towners and she really helped me pick between the two dinners I wanted. I love the aesthetic, music was comforting, whole vibe completely different than what we’re used to back home. Love the pictures on the wall and the best part… FOOD WAS AMAZING. Had the shrimp and gumbo for starters and smothered turkey chops for my entree. Will be back! Thank you for the hospitality
Cornbread never fails to impress with its consistently high standards. Starting with the delicious season-fried hard wings and the mac and cheese that hit the spot, I also enjoyed their Cornbread dressing, available only on Sundays, which is my absolute favorite. The quality of the food was matched by the exceptional service CeCe provided, which was truly top-notch. Meanwhile, mixologist Brianna showcased her talent for crafting unique drinks while keeping the atmosphere lively. Appreciation for making my birthday meal so special.
Walking in on a Thursday afternoon wasn’t crowded or anything. Loved the atmosphere and the music not too loud just right… greeted w smiles went over the menu. Our food came out in about 10 mins very good and hot. We had one of the cocktails very good and strong lol. If you’re in the Detroit area check them out.
